Bows! Bows! Bows!

Me and a few of our friends got together and thought it would be a good idea to make 1 bow and gain 4 more. So we did it! Here are some pics of our first exchange. I of course procrastinated till the very last minute. But non the less I think they turned out cute.

Kelly- did the little green flower bow with rhinestones

Michelle- did the flower bow out of fabric

Brianne- worked on a corker bow ( 4th of July theme)

Lydia- did the sheer blue and white stacked with marabou.

Misti- will start next month

Ok girls we will be meeting in two months and can't wait to see what's next. I really enjoyed working on them. Thanks Misti for coming to our exchange she was soo excited to see them and we cant wait for her to start.

Farewell 4th Grade!

I'm sooo happy that school is out. No more getting up early, making sure lunches are packed, baths.... you get the point!! Now we can have slumber parties every night in our Family room with watching late night movies and sleeping in. I especially enjoy all the kids wanting to spoil me. What I mean by that is that they compete by seeing who could be the better kid.=) ohh i just love this. Hey mom can I massage your feet? Hey mom can I brush your hair? I mean this list can go on and on. Paint my nails, wash the dishes, massaging my arms, legs, pluck my eye brows (So when you notice they are don't match or a little off), Kailee did it. lol

But hey I do a lot for them too! So I welcome summer time with loving arms. But ask me in August. I will be begging for school to start. It's exhausting trying to find crafts and things for the kids to do all day. This was the first year the kids shared the same teacher and had a great time. He was a great teacher and made learning very fun. So at the end of the year I made him a gift to remember the twins. It was so fun and easy that I also made one for Audrey Wilcox for graduating from Buchanan High. Brianne and I found them on a blog and thought it would be easy to make not to mention how inexpensive. If you asked me 8 years ago if I had a hobby I wouldn't be able to answer you. But know I love to do so many things. Crafting is so much fun! So thank you to so many people for sharing all of your talents. Now I can pass them along to my kids.

High Rollers

I just love how smart my kids are!! Their last semester at Freedom Kalob received the Honor Roll. I should of already known that was going to happen because every semester he has pulled off bringing home his Honor Roll certificates. I just don't know how he does it. I swear he has the worst attention span out there. Dan and I laugh because when we are doing FHE he is always paying attention to everything else but us. But if we were to ask him, what we were talking about. He could verbatim repeat what we were just teaching. Which is a gift that I couldn't do.
Kailee shocked us though this semester. She has made Honor Roll a couple of times throughout the year but has always needed to do better in some areas. But this report card she finally did it. Straight A's!!! Yahoo! That's my girl! She even received the highest honor which is The Principal's Award. When she wants to she could accomplish anything she wants. So way to go Kailee and Kalob you have made us proud. We love you so much!

Kailee and Kaitlin Dress Up

On my Birthday this last Sunday we went to my mother in laws house to celebrate. And Sam decided to take the girls in her room and dress them up. What a fun aunt Sam was being. I thought I would post a couple of these pictures. The girls had sooo much fun playing dress up. I just really love these girls. They are so lucky to have each other. I can't wait to watch them grow up together.

Paul's Graduation/Prom 2009

This is has to be one of the best days of my life! My son Paul graduated from High School. We enjoyed watching him walk and receive his diploma. There have been many challenges that he was able to overcome. I was a little sad that we didn't bring Makai and Makenna to graduation. But of course he graduated at 12:00 in the afternoon and I knew that the kids would not have been able to sit through it. So this is why we don't have all of the family pictured. He also had his favorite aunt and cousin attend from his dad's side. And he also invited a close friend Hannah Larsen to come. It turned out to be a great day and we are very proud of him. So what's the next chapter in life? Only Heavenly Father knows. But we are extremely proud to see this day. I also added a couple of Paul's Prom Pictures. He went with his friend Marcelle she had another date lined up but apparently he backed out last minute and Paul felt really bad for her and was able to fill in. So way to go Paul! I'm excited to see what's in the future for him. Hopefully a MISSION??? What a dream come true.=) Wish us Luck.

APRIL 2009 - Twins Birthday

Our twins turned 10 years old this year! We decided to switch it up this year...letting each of them pick 5 friends and split up Boys and Girls.

Dan took the boys out to Boomers and played laser tag, water rides, minature golf, tons of go karting and overall had a blast.

I took the girls out to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and came back to do a craft before the boys returned. We then did cupcakes with Kailee shoving her cupcake in Kalob's face starting a food fight. It was a lot of fun.

Paul turns 18

On March 9th Paul turned 18. Oh My Gosh I can't believe I have an 18 year old son. It is hard to believe that much time has passed. I'm just learning how to start doing this so please bare with me. I really wish that I started this blogging years ago so that Paul and his new family will be able to look back at all the cute sayings and great pictures I was able to capture over the years. Paul will be graduating soon. He told me that him receiving his diploma is my birthday present. I'm thrilled that he has been able to graduate and walk and experience high school the s the way all kids should be able to experience. He finally got his license and it only took him 18 years. lol I'm proud of having such a good boy. He's not perfect he makes a lot of mistakes. But deep down I know he has a great heart and I trust that he will always strive to make good decisions.

I finally did it!!!!

I have been hesitant to start a blog for the last couple years but I recently realized that it was a way for me to journal for my family. My children are growing so fast and it saddens me that I have not been as good at recording things that have happened so far. Hopefully with creating a blog, this will encourage me to take more pictures and document the funny things that the kids are saying, doing, participating in etc. So let the adventure begin...
